Alors jubilation, alors jouissance : RECKLESS LOVE s'offre à vous comme la plus majestueuse reponse à la neurasthénie ambiante.
Deuxieme album nommé "Animal Attraction", les finlandais menés par le David Lee Rothesque Ollie Herman (peroxydé, bodybuildé, botoxifié) reussissent le sans-faute avec une collection de tubes dantesques, mémorisables en une fraction de seconde, appuyés par de suaves mélodies gorgées de soleil et de fun, l'alliance parfaite du groove perceur de coffre-forts qu'initia jadis ABBA avec la puissance décomplexée d'un Kiss maquillé et outrageant, Musique & Fitness indiquant le leitmotiv sublimé par le groupe.
Alors, du bombastique, il y en a à ras bord : imaginez un supergroupe au nom de BON DEF HALEN...et vous serez encore en dessous de la vérité.
Du tube en veux-tu en voilà, du single parfait ("Hot", "On the Radio", "Animal Attraction", cartouches imparables aux vidéos sympa et sexy où le physique et les gimmicks de l'Apollon Ollie sont mis a contribution pour notre plus grand plaisir, toute cette gestuelle n'étant qu'hommages appuyés au chanteur bondissant de "Jump"...), 12 titres parfaits et aucun moment de lassitude pour venir entacher l'oeuvre regeneratrice. Bon Diou, que cela fait du bien !
Seul Crazy Lixx , l'autre néo-glam band pourrait sans rougir soutenir la comparaison avec nos finlandais prescripteurs de Californian lifestyle.
Affamés de Cannibal Corpse, sans doute vous passerez votre chemin (encore que s'ouvrir à l'inconnu ne peut- être que bénéfique...) mais amoureux de Hard Rock léché, frais comme un gardon, brillant comme la wax caressant la planche de surf dormant sur le sable chaud, cette musique vous fera bronzer rien qu'en l'écoutant et vous affutera comme la carrosserie d'un Bret Michaels.
