LITA FORD : Living Like a Runaway (chronique CD)

Anatomic bomb privacy explosive (but this does not look us...), trendsetter of fantasies long before Savannah, collateral damage (Holmes & Nikki will find it difficult to rely ), lacquered eighties will belong it, other dolls less glam but more sharp will do the job before the large bearded not convenient (Lee Aaron / Doro ) Artichoke hearts will spread to its steamy clips.
2009 was the year of a failed comeback ( myopathe album "Wicked Wonderland" ), a sham actually manufactured by his muscular ex, Jim Gillette and his rusty undue attempts will be the effect of a damp squib.
LITA on deserved better and "Living Like A Runaway" with his wink supported finally will honor to the melodic talent of the Lady.
Eighth solo album designed like an introspective journey inspired by the "Dark Side of the Moon" from Pink Floyd eaten early in the end as real work consistent, free of the necklace, Lita returned Queen shows fangs (aided by lyricist Michael Dan Ehmig ). Heavy in its foundations and sweet at the bottom of the Palace, pieces such as "Hate" or the catchy and nostalgic "Living In The Runaway" reassuring on the freshness of the remarks. Muscles still on the "Branded" ( convincing electric eruptions ) which opens the album or the "Devil in my Head", with his barbed riff, but tenderness and pain thematic (une thinly veiled album ) with "Mother" and "Asylum", most state that resolution of account ( our beautiful lived a difficult divorce and a particularly child bataillee ).
Nikki Sixx back in the musical environment brings the piece "Song to slit your wrist by A" modern which pair of the martial "The Mask" will find beautiful place in the live directory provided by la peroxidised. It will remain for the most dubious shot about the duo that Lita is offered with Gary Hoey ( also of the production) on the dispensable "Love 2 Hate U", Marshmallow poppy indigestible limit of serving a little menu.
LITA-shaped, the newfound girlfriend voice, compositions effective that will be not the former lover cold, that purchasing the limited edition will last a bit more fun with two previously unreleased bonus, "Bad neighborhood" composed by the great Doug Aldrich Whitesnake at ( you see seriously from the case )as well as the resumption of the smash hit of Elton John, 'The Bitch Is back' with anepileptic saxophone.

Hard Rock of very good quality, Lita returned to the business. And nothing ( in the image of the cover and the cd artwork created by famous rock photographer Mark Weiss )did (really ) changed: Blonde & Sexy.
And hungry-
